With ‘Zero Gravity’ MASSIV IN MENSCH, together with the trained soprano Rana Arborea, release an impressive vocal cover version. The original of the Australian singer Kate Miller-Heidke became known through last year’s Eurovision Song Contest. In contrast, MASSIV IN MENSCH relies even more on catchiness and electronic rhythm. The single is complemented by two exclusive remixes of the previously released pieces ‘The Shores Of England’ and ‘Verne (Ave Maria)’. TRACE KOTIK is a really impressive singer / songwriter from Israel. He has been working on his debut album for the past year and a half and is now presenting his second single ‘100’ after ‘Enough’. It is an eclectically written song that is about a conversation that you could have with yourself or with a loved one about the struggle to keep your foot on the gas. The foundation stone for the band JOYCE was laid when the songwriter Jody moved from London to Berlin to join his old friend and guitarist Nikolas. Shortly afterwards, Alessandro (drummer) and Igor (bassist) were added to the line-up and the band won several competitions in their north-east Italian homeland. JOYCE combines distorted strings, gentle guitar phrases and catchy melodies to create a euphonic abreaction and is determined to overcome her own origins. They continue to perform at the Open Source Festival (Düsseldorf) and bite into Berlin’s underground music venues like the legendary Wild at Heart.- Details

All the news about social media, all the comments and all the emails that you sent us with perseverance slogans, throwbacks and anecdotes from past festival years.
