Owls ‘n’ Bats Winterfest 2020 with No More, Saigon Blue Rain, Je T’ Aime & Empathy Test

The Owls n Bats Winterfest is a new one-day Indoor Festival for Gothic, Dark, Cold and New Wave, Electronica, Shoegaze, Post Punk, Batcave and Indie Rock and takes place in the Stadthalle Detmold. The Stadthalle is not a faceless and huge multi-purpose hall, but offers a historic ambience right in the centre of Detmold at the “Schlosspark” (“Castle Park”).

There are some more names added to the Hurricane and Southside programme: with RISE AGAINST and THE KILLERS, two more Rock headliners joined the already confirmed five top acts. ICE… -  who? In case you have not heard of them, yet: The Moscow band IC3PEAK consists of vocalist Nastya Kreslina and producer Nikolay Kostylev. There are not many Russian bands known in the West, however IC3PEAK become more and more popular - not only in their home country and Eastern Europe but also in the West. The duo plays digital Industrial Pop, combining Noise elements with melodic clarity and danceable tunes. Their music is also described as Goth Rap, probably because of the dark tunes and spoken / shouted words. They also produce video art and thus the band describes itself as an “audio-visual project” or “audiovisual terror” respectively.
