Very joyful news: in autumn, PIXIES will release their new and up to now untitled, eighth studio album. Simultaneously, the European part of their world tour starts, and in October 2019, the pioneering indie rockers come to Germany. For that occasion, Black Francis (vocals, guitar), Joey Santiago (guitar), Paz Lenchantin (bass) and David Lovering (drums) come up with something new: PIXIES will not play a fixed setlist, but during rehearsals, they will prepare about 90 songs from all phases of their band history. No gig of the tour is alike the other, sequence and selection of the songs is made spontaneously during the concerts.

Festival creator, motor and soul, Dominik Wrehl, promises: “The 2019 party becomes bigger than all the other ones before.” Besides the picturesque setting of the Hameln Weser Promenade, varying locations, short ways, a familiar atmosphere and the mystical, fanciful site decoration, the organizers show off with an exciting line up mix and long playtimes for every band. All bands get the chance to present themselves appropriately and to create the right mood. Overall, this festival is the right place for stage hopping friends, truffle searchers and fans.
