Chaos Theory Festival 2020 ZU, Teeth Of The Sea, Undersmile, Mammoth Weed Wizard Bastard, Gold, Furia, Vodun and many more
Back in the early part of 2010 Kunal Singh was an avid gig attendee. Most of the new music that he discovered back then was discovered that way. He realised that the easiest way to connect with new musical ideas was to get out there and see the artists performing live! The aural and the visual experience was and still is equally important. But back then there was also an element of dissatisfaction with the opportunities available to artists so the idea formed to start a record label to promote new music. That quickly encompassed live music promotion. Chaos Theory was born!

The new studio album, an opus of absorbing, soaring Progressive Rock & meticulously crafted doses of melancholy will be released on Peaceville Records on 24th April 2020. “In days and nights of black and silver, the dead end king will come. From pieces of broken mirrors there will be a crown bestowed upon his head. In reflections of shattered glass not only the seasons will turn, but also the change disguised by the lapse of time. His mind will have to come to bear the weight of everything that was left behind and forgotten. Archiving the inaccessible. Celebrating the abandoned and mourning the destroyed. The city burials.” Anders Nyström

29th Wave Gotik Treffen with Brandenburg, Combichrist, Drangsal, Einstürzende Neubauten, Ikon, Linea Aspera, Pouppée Fabrikk, The Exploding Boy, VNV Nation, Whispering Sons and many more
Attention: due to the Corona pandemic, this event is cancelled!
It seems like we just celebrated 25-years-anniversary of this unique festival, but here we go: the 29th edition is coming closer and next year, we can already celebrate the 30th anniversary. Time just flies! There is no other event that can be compared to the Wave Gotik Treffen. Probably anyone could imagine how this event would turn out black in 1992 when about 2,000 people met in Leipzig to celebrate the Dark Wave and Goth music and lifestyle and get to know others with similar way of life. The Wave Gotik Treffen even survived the chaos year 2000 when the former organizers and the money disappeared, so the bands and staff couldn’t be paid, but the visitors and some of the artists stuck to it and made even that very chaotic year something special and probably showed for the first time the real importance of it.
