Founded in 1981, MINISTRY was to be the lifelong passion of front man and founder Al Jourgensen. The band quickly developed their mission statements, for which it is still notorious today: Jourgensen’s wild dreads, the pitch-black clothing, vampire glasses and the exquisite cylinder have long been iconic for MINISTRY.
