After two independent releases, MUTEMATH ended the year 2016 with the release of a surprise collaboration with TWENTY ONE PILOTS. The four-piece alternative rock band from New Orleans arranged and produced alternative versions of four songs from the highly acclaimed album ‘Blurryface’ by TWENTY ONE PILOTS. The session with all six members of the two bands was filmed and recorded live and reached # 1 on the iTunes Alternative Charts and over 4.5 million clicks on YouTube. To start the new year 2017, front man Paul Meany worked together with the artists SEVEN LIONS and Jason Ross, known in the electro / trance scene. With them, Meany released the song ‘Higher Love’, which reached # 1 of the Beatport Trance Charts.

ENTER SHIKARI’s, Trancecore is a mixture of angry-driven post-Hardcore and space-grabbing Trance music - styles that could hardly be more contrasting. Thus they had a great success with an a balancing act only few artists are able to create. So their fourth studio album, ‘The Mindsweep’ published in 2015, also rose highly into the international charts. Earlier this year, the band was in the studio for two months to record the sequel to ‘The Mindsweep’. Still the album is not done, said the band. But they revealed on the occasion that the upcoming record will explore new musical fields and be “significantly more extreme” than the four previous long-players. At the end of the year, ENTER SHIKARI will come to Germany for four concerts in the context of their big tour through Europe where they present the new album. Between December 3 and 12, the band will be in Cologne, Hamburg, Berlin and Munich.
