With STONE SOUR, a spearhead of the American Rock Circus returns in June and presents ‘Hydrograd’, the long awaited successor for the in 2012 and 2013 in two parts published concept album ‘House Of Gold & Bones’. With these two albums, STONE SOUR had finally entered the global rock league. Both of these plants rose to the top of the charts worldwide and were among the top ten in the USA, Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as in many other countries. They also rose to the top of the US hard rock charts and the British rock charts. Since then the band has convinced with two powerful EPs full of cover versions, summarized under the name ‘The Burbank Dualogy’. Now the time has come for a new album, which the band will present live as part of a world tour. The band will come to Europe at the end of the year with five shows planned in Germany. As special guests, THE PRETTY RECKLESS will join the shows.- Details

Tangerine Dream’s new studio album Quantum Gate is due for release on September 29th 2017, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the band. In late summer 2014, Edgar Froese, Thorsten Quaeschning, Ulrich Schnauss and Hoshiko Yamane began to work on what was planned to be the first album of Tangerine Dream’s Quantum Years – a new phase of the band that Edgar wanted to use to introduce a couple of substantial changes.- Details

The call went out. Time for a new MR. BIG album. They convened in a Los Angeles studio and in a matter of six days, the boundless result of all that musical talent is DEFYING GRAVITY, with the release of their ninth original studio album and start of a new worldwide tour. Original members Eric Martin (lead vocals), Paul Gilbert (guitars), Billy Sheehan (bass) and Pat Torpey (drums) reunited with producer Kevin Elson (who was behind the boards for the band's 1989 self-titled debut, 1991's LEAN INTO IT and 1993's BUMP AHEAD) for an intensive six-day recording session in Los Angeles. While Torpey was unable to perform some of the songs on DEFYING GRAVITY due to a recent diagnosis of Parkinson's disease, Matt Starr has been filling in for him on a majority of the album. Starr also been touring with the band for the past couple of years, with Torpey able to play a couple of songs at each stop.
