Sigur Rós
Everyone who saw SIGUR RÓS live once will know that the Icelandic band puts on more than just a regular concert. For one it’s due to their songs, which are somewhere between big pop songs and roaring soundscapes but it is also down to the atmospheric visuals they have on stage. And we should not forget the stage presence of the three musicians. Jón Þór “Jónsi“ Birgisson with his mysterious and other-wordly voice who also plays his guitar with a violin bow. Bass player Georg “Goggi“ Hólm who won’t stop smiling and seems like the calm anchor in the band and finally Ágúst Ævar Gunnarsson who sets the pulse with his drums.

Won’t forget these days. For what? Was it not just yesterday that Kai and Christof met and decided to "make music together again?" FURY IN THE SLAUGHTERHOUSE, a name like a trash metal band and 1987 most obsolete guitar music in English. They could not make friends with the contemporary music styles, so they took a completely different path to meet their musical requirements. Loud and often and much - and lo and behold, they had no chance, but they took advantage of them. 30 years, millions sold CDs, adventure tours through the USA and England and a separation later they are back with a best-of-CD including six new songs as well as high-quality ear book (Limited Deluxe Edition), an extensive tour including sold out arena shows at home in Hanover and surprisingly many young music colleagues who report that they started making music because of FURY IN THE SLAUGHTERHOUSE. Welcome back, boys!- Details
