Do you remember the Norwegian goth metal legends, The Sins Of Thy Beloved? They have been dormant since quite a while and after years of a rumored reunion, Stig Johansen and Anders Thue have instead risen from the ashes with a new band, Savn, and a new vision. The seeds for Savn (translated: Deprivation) officially took root in 2013 when multi-instrumentalist Stig contacted Midnattsol vocalist and long-time friend Carmen Elise Espenæs about singing one song for the planned album. She agreed, and he and Anders (keyboards) were so pleased with the final result they invited Carmen to sing on the entire record.- Details

Eden's Curse are disappointed to announce the departure of Pete Newdeck from the band. Pete has been the drummer of the group since it's formation in 2006 and has been a key member of the writing team during those eight years together. However he announced to the band just before Christmas that it was his intention to leave the group due to personal and family commitments as well as wishing to concentrate on Tainted Nation, whom he fronts as their vocalist, and his activities as the drummer for UK AOR act Newman.- Details

PHOSPHOR was a band from London that released one of the three best albums of 2013, in my opinion: ‘Youth & Immortality’. Since the band unfortunately disbanded, we have been following its members closely to find out about their new project. Hélène de Thoury, singer and keyboard player, continued with her side-project, Minuit Machine and released a very nice EP, ‘Blue Moon’. Nathalia Bruno collaborated with M!R!M, the one-man project of Iacopo Bertelli, on one track of Bertelli's first album, ‘Heaven’, released on Fabrika Records. M!R!M proposes a dark Shoegaze/ postpunk/ drone music reminiscent of THE SOFT MOON but the track recorded with Bruno, ‘Lizards’, was revealing new possibilities.- WHILE HEAVEN WEPT - Reveal new album title, celebrate 25th Anniversary
