Tanzwut
TANZWUT (meaning ‘dancing mania’ or ‘rage’) started out in 1998 in Germany as a side project of medieval folk band CORVUS CORAX. Typical for this folk metal band is the use of electronically empowered instruments and bagpipes. The band's recent releases have been gravitating towards a more industrial metal approach, incorporating the use of more down-tuned guitars, harsher vocals and darker atmospheres. In 2011, TANZWUT released two albums: the folk oriented 'Morus et Diabolus' and the rock oriented 'Weiße Nächte'. The show at Melkweg will be part of the promotional tour for this last album.
