In this year’s October, the anticipated new studio album of LEGACY OF MUSIC will be released. The silver disc will contain 12 breathtaking pieces, where clubby beats connect with soft, dreamy melodies. Also a variety of prominent guest musicians, whose identity will be kept a secret for the time being, are featured on the record. But working in the album has drained the band’s creative powers and so it’s up to you this time to tell them how the album’s going to be called. Magic Circle Music recording artists HOLYHELL will take Belgium by storm for the first time ever at the Metal Female Voices Fest VIII at Oktoberhallen in Wieze, Belgium on October 24, 2010. The goth/power metal sensations have been racking up some pretty hefty worldwide touring miles over the last five years and the MFVF organizers sought them out as this year's very special guest based on the band's growing reputation as a stellar live act. HOLYHELL's eponymous, full-length Magic Circle debut was released in the US and Canada on June 8th and the band is also participating in the label's forthcoming tribute CD, "Magic - A Tribute to Ronnie James Dio," with a monstrous live rendition of one of Dio's all time classics "Holy Diver."- Details

The undisputed leaders of the extreme, NAPALM DEATH, just finished a new video clip for the song “On The Brink Of Extinction”. The track is taken from the stunning “Time Waits For No Slave” album and the video manages to perfectly mix the intensity of NAPALM DEATH live with the shocking brutality of mankind. Singer Mark “Barney” Greenway explains the meaning behind “On The Brink Of Extinction”: “As regards the meaning of the song, we wanted to convey that the process of evolution is an amazing thing, but also to say that as human beings we have the ability to assist where other beings suffer. In other words, we don't just let the rule of 'survival of the fittest' dictate that we should just stand back and either allow things to go into decline or participate in it.”- Details

Turisas will be featured on a Finnish TV show Iiro irti ("Iiro Unleashed") by renowned pianist and TV personality Iiro Rantala. Each episode will show Rantala, a well-known Finnish crossover musician with roots in jazz, taking part in performances by bands and artists of various genres. Turisas was asked to show Rantala how to put up a proper metal show, while the other episodes feature Finland's top artists from blues, schlager, rock and chamber music genres. Rantala will join Turisas onstage in Ruisrock, Turku on Saturday 10 July (Main Stage, 13.45-14.45) and the performance will be broadcast on 15 August on Yle Teema, a channel of Finnish National TV.The trailer of the show can be viewed through the link below:
