It is hard to pinpoint with accuracy why the new Front Line Assembly single is so much stronger and more danceable than their last releases. But it is obvious that the new quartet, composed of Bill Leeb, Jeremy Inkel, Chris Peterson and Jared Slingerland, has concentrated on its old form once again.Front Line Assembly created great landmark albums such as "Tactical Neural Implant" and "Hard Wired", and their quality was their cinematic industrial sound in widescreen format which left the competition technically trembling in their wake. This new vitality is apparent on all of the three songs featured on the new single and heralds the upcoming album "Improvised Electronic Device" as a hybrid of electronics and guitars, combining the best of both worlds.- Details

A new festival for those who appreciate dark electronic music will be held for the first time on July 30th in De Meenthe in Steenwijk, the Netherlands. In addition to the headliner Skinny Puppy the Dependent acts Mindless Faith (Baltimore, USA) and Dismantled (San Diego, USA) will enter the stages. This Gothic / EBM / Industrial - Festival will be held indoors with air conditioning, that neither heat nor rain can play a role and you can order tickets in advance without hesitation (soon also available in the Dependent Shop).Source: Newsletter

Quite rightly, PETER GABRIEL is deemed as a pop magician. His spectacular performances are legendary and he’s always up to surprise his audience, as happened with his newest coup. With ‘Scratch My Back’, he’s turned a new page of his varied work and initially could conquer #2 of the German album charts.
