A-ha
A-HA has written music history as being pop trendsetters. Many of the younger bands in pop music history like COLDPLAY have referred to them as their musical idols. Ever since the band came back from their hiatus in 1998, they have seamlessly linked to their successes of the 80s, which include international hits 'Take on Me' or 'Stay On These Roads' after all, with a thrilling array of live shows as well as several hit albums and singles. Their completely sold-out arena tours always cemented and confirmed their status as an audience catcher and bestseller. But on the current peak of their success Morten Harket, Magne Furuholmen and Paul Waaktaar-Savoy made the tough and fateful decision to put A-HA to final rest which left fans all around the globe shocked and speechless.

Genitorturers
The GENITORTURERS made their debut in 1993 with the album '120 Days of Genitorture' and from there on became a force to be reckoned with, not only through their clever electro-tinged hardcore punk sound but especially with their live performances which led them to countries of the likes of Australia and Japan already. Their shows contain an immense share of pornographic and performance art elements, making for a visually intriguing character that is sure to leave the audience in Duisburg with their jaws dropped to the floor and wide open eyes. The event castle Pulp is the stage of choice where the creative crew is going to appear on 14th May, presenting material from their newest work 'Blackheart Revolution' amongst many classics out of their portfolio.

Grand Avenue, Alpha Academy
Though all band members actually hail from Denmark, the story of GRAND AVENUE starts in London where the four get to know and appreciate each other .The foundation's been laid but it'd take several years before the building would take shape. Particularly that happened in the year 2001. Their demo songs already gained the attention of some radio stations and quickly a major label deal would follow. The first two albums 'Grand Avenue' and 'She' become hits in their native but remain largely unnoticed to the rest of the world.
