With the proposal of playing doom metal and being influenced, directly or not, by acts like Black Sabbath, Candlemass, Bathory and Danzig, the brazilian band HellLight was formed. The group, formed by Fabio (vocals and guitars), Alexandre (baixo) and the guest musicians Silvano (keyboards) and Phill (drums), had its second album, entitled "Funeral Doom", released by the German label Ancient Dreams Records (http://www.ancientdreams.de/). For the first time in band history, Canadian butchers DESPISED ICON are conformed for the famous Wacken Open Air. Be sure that these guys will turn the festival into an infernal moshpit. Besides that, DESPISED ICON will be supporting PAARKWAY DRIVE on their tour in April/May 2010 and again destroy German stages. Further bands on the tour will be their label mates of WINDS OF PLAGUE, as well as THE WARRIORS and 50 LIONS.
