Swedish Melodic Death Metal masters of DARK TRANQUILITY have posted with ‘Dream Oblivion’ a new song to their revamped Myspace profile. The song is meant to be a first taste of the upcoming new album ‘We Are The Void’, released on 26th February 2010. ‘We Are The Void’ was being recorded at the band’s own “Rogue Music Studio” and will be mixed and mastered by Tue Madsen at “Antfarm Studios” in Denmark. Before that package is going to please your ears, there’ll be some studio reports within the next weeks giving you some more info about the album’s genesis. Reports were created by no one less than Anders Björler (The Haunted, At The Gates)! Episodes 1-3 are already online and can be found at the band’s Myspace profile. Have fun watching them.- Details

Finally, there is some news from MELOTRON, and very good news, indeed! MELOTRON have been continuing works on their upcoming album for the last few months. The new material will be released in early 2010. But beforehand, MELOTRON will surprise you after Christmas. During Peter Heppner’s tour in January and February 2010 MELOTRON will be the opening act. After being overwhelmed by their fans and having received so many, positive reactions worldwide after the release from their new album "Old Dogs New Tricks", the Dutch Heavy Metal legends from PICTURE have decided to do something back and have launched TODAY a very special version of the song "Now It's Too Late" on their MySpace. The special edition of "Now it's too Late" will stay for streaming for a couple of days on the band's MySpace and after that the fans can download it at all relevant download platforms. The cd version of "Now It's Too Late" can be found on the band's latest album "Old Dogs New Tricks", released on 1st October of this year, exactly 30 years after their first record!- Details

The French duo AIR emerged from the historically relevant city of Versailles in 1995 to present the world their version of what is often referred to as Electronica. With it they’re creating warmth that is often missing in other synthetic music through their increased use of analogue and vintage gear. Their very first album ‘Moon Safari’ has become a classic in the Chillout genre and was their breakthrough at the same time. Ever since, the duo has expanded its capabilities enormously, learned new ways of creating even more thick soundscapes for the listeners to get lost in. But their newer albums also show an increased shift of mood towards more dark shades and experimental structures without getting too mind-focused though.
