NIGHWISH is showing respect for Finnish singer/songwriter veteran
Jaakko Teppo by recording his song “Hilma ja Onni” in Finnish. Jaakko
Teppo is well known in Finland of his humorous protest songs associated
with the labor movement. Fifteen years ago a serious illness forced Jaakko
Teppo to withdraw from the stages. Today many of the brightest stars in Finland are honoring Jaakko
Teppo’s legacy for Finnish music culture by recording his songs on
tribute album "Pörsänmäen Sanomat". - Details

FLOOR JANSEN, Dutch vocalist (ex-After Forever) , has a new band: ReVamp. She announched the news during her guest performance with EPICA in Belgium last Saturday. The day after she shared the stage with DORO. The release date of her new album is set in May 2010. Floor Jansen writes about Revamp: The ReVamp sound will become a unique blend of the personal style we will recognize from these musicians.
