“Go To Hell”, the second full-length album from Swedish Death Metallers MALEFICIO was released today, Tuesday 13th October, on APOLLON RECORDS. “Go To Hell” represents a move to an established European label for the band, whose 2005 debut album, “Under the Black Veil”, was released on the Columbian label Hateworks Records. MALEFICIO, whose name comes from a reference in a Jack Nicholson movie, was formed in 1990, by vocalist DAN SOXX and drummer PTR, and originally started out as a four-piece, with guitarist MIKE (ex-MNEMONIC) and former ARCHANGEL bassist GOAT. The band became a five-piece in 2008 with the addition of rhythm guitarist BIG TORE (ex-GRIEF OF EMERALD). The band draws its inspiration from a wide range of metal acts, blending all the different styles to form MALEFICIO’s own trademark sound, which is strongly riff-orientated powerhouse Death Metal. - Details

PAINKILLER RECORDS (a sub label of Apollon Entertainment UN Limited) is set to release BOLT THROWER’S “Warmaster” in a picture disc version. Recorded at the Slaughterhouse Studios in the UK, and produced by Colin Richardson, “Warmaster” was first released in 1991 on Earache Records, with the then-line up of Karl Willetts (vocals), Barry Thomson (guitar), Gavin Ward (guitar), Jo Bench (bass) and Andrew Whale (drums).- Details

The Swiss rock veterans of GOTTHARD continue their way to the top in 2009. With their new album, which was released in September, they’ll embark on the biggest Germany tour in band history as of November/December. They’ll get company by the Swedish rock legend EUROPE (‘The Final Countdown’, ‘Carrie’, ‘Rock The Night’). The formation which was founded in 1979 goes on their first extensive Germany tour for five years with that! As of November, GOTTHARD & EUROPE will rock Germany.
