‘Pleištas’, the first album of Šiauliai black metal band ARGHARUS, will come out on June 6th this year. The album will be released in 6 panel DIGI format under Inferna Profundus Records flag. After quite enough time since LUCTUS and ARGHARUS split release, the band has taken a rather different direction, and to its listeners introduces a musical creation of a new concept. The music as well as the idea has significantly changed, what can surprise the constant fans of the band or become a new discovery.- Details

"Polaris", the new album from Finnish melodic metallers STRATOVARIUS, entered the official chart in the band's home country at position No. 2 and has moved down to No. 4 in the CD's second week of release. The album also debuted on the German Media Control chart at No. 55. The band also changed their website. They just returned from a short England tour. - Details

The French label SEASON OF MIST signed THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN. It is an honour for the label to have such an originally talented band on board. DEP's fourth studio album - whose title will be revealed in a few weeks - is due early 2010."It is becoming clear that as the music industry standard continues to morph and change on a daily basis, artistic and operational freedom has become a band's most valuable asset", guitarist Ben Weinman comments. "100% free of all previous contractual ties, Dillinger is in an amazing position to collaborate with some interesting partners which will continue to nurture the ethic that we have been doing our best to stay true to for over 10 years now. While touring Europe in support of our record, "Ire Works", I had the pleasure of meeting Michael Berberian, distributor and owner of the independent record label Season of Mist. It quickly became clear that we had very similar ideas about Dillinger's music and its place in the underground.
