ROCK HARD FESTIVAL revealed the first names for the 8th edition on 21-23 May 2010. That is during Whitsun. Location is the amphitheatre in Gelsenkirchen (Germany). 7000 people, 24 bands, camping 12,50 euros and ticket 59 euros. The first confirmed bands are:
KREATOR, ARTILLERY, BULLDOZER, EVILE, NECROS CHRISTOS, SABATON, THE DEVIL'S BLOOD

German thrashers KREATOR have been confirmed as the co-headliners of the Christmas metal festival, called 'rock in concert.' Set to take place 12th December 2009 at Stadthalle in Lichtenfels, Germany. - Details

CHRISTMAS METAL SYMPHONY has revealed new names for their second 2009 edition. Jorn Lande (MASTERPLAN), Damian Wilson (THRESHOLD), Udo Dirkschneider (U.D.O., ACCEPT), Mats Levén (THERION, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) and Charlotte Wessels (DELAIN) will participate. This year the "Christmas Metal Symphony" show is set to take place on Sunday 20th December 2009 at 013 in Tilburg, Holland. As was the case with last year's event, the singers will be backed by a six-piece band and a 30-piece classical orchestra as they perform some of the finest heavy metal and hard rock songs of all time. This unique show will contain songs from all metal genres — from prog-metal to rock, from death to speed and from industrial to symphonic. More names will be announced soon.
