Some very interesting NEMESEA news reached us recently:A few weeks ago we were asked by two students from music and technology (HKU, Utrecht - Holland) to play a show in surround 7.0. It will be their graduation project that will be under supervision of Ronald Prent (Rammstein, Simple minds, NEMESEA!!). Ronald Prent will support students Djuri Boot en Dave Schinkel with the project because he is THE master at mixing albums in surround (he also mixed our album In Control in surround). Ronald has some good ideas about mixing a band live in surround. He pointed out that Nemesea would be THE band to work with. WAUW! Surround 7.0 is very unique....it has never been done live before! So we will be pioneers AGAIN!

Our label Delicious Releases is getting started on may 1st too. Prospectively, you may find Chamber's works (a.o.) here. Delicious Releases is a pure independent label, conciously relinquishing usual commerzial (exploitation) structures. One one hand, we'll offer our artists works as mp3 download, on the other, there will be high end limited CD and vinyl editions with beautiful artwork.

Now also the freshly re-united FAITH NO MORE have confirmed their attendance at Area4 Festival 2009 and complete besides DIE TOTEN HOSEN and RISE AGAINST the headlining positions. Also newly confirmed and equally legendary rock heroes are the DEFTONES; besides that the Area4 audience can look forward to THURSDAY, THE GET UP KIDS and ZEBRAHEAD.

On 17th April 2009, ‘Sounds of the Universe’ the meanwhile 12th studio album of DEPECHE MODE was released and after only two days reached gold status for a 100,000 sold physical copies. Also the digital album is a mega seller and since its release it’s in the top-selling ranks of ITunes and Musicload.The album is available as standard CD, CD & DVD, 2LP & CD, as well as an extensively designed box set with all a fan’s heart can desire. On 3 CDs there’s besides the album exclusive b-sides, remixes and demos; On DVD you can find filmed studio session, a 5.1 mix of the album, two movies, the EPK and video. Furthermore the box comprises two photo books, a poster, postcards, and a sticker.

Finnish progressive metal band AMORPHIS will embark on a one-month "Forging Europe Tour 2009" European headlining tour in October/November. The support act is not confirmed, but new Finish band Barren Earth is named. More information will follow.
