On 06/12/09 we will release in collaboration with Danse Macabre the album "Silent Green" of the German Dark-Ambient-Project ART NOIR. ART NOIR is a project of Jan Weber, the film composer and former member of IMPRESSIONS OF WINTER. Succeeding the debut `Flügel` and a co-production with Carlos Perón, the new record, called `Silent Green´, opens up to a new musical dimension.
The opening song, called `Dark Temple`, evokes memories of masterpieces by LUSTMORD and AH CAMA SOTZ. Dark Ambient-collages similar to DELERIUM and RAISON D´ETRE (´Take the blue pill´) are lighted up by journeys into different worlds of sound. "Heavenly Voices" (`Silent Green`, `Brother of sleep`) and "Burlesque" (`Mental`) are only two examples for that.

CHILDREN OF BODOM was forced to cancel several shows on the No Fear Energy Tour with Lam of God, due to injuries sustained by guitarist and frontman Alexi Laiho. Laiho broke his shoulder in April when he was ejected from his tour bus bunk after the vehicle took a sharp turn. Laiho and the rest of COB were touring North America in support of the band's critically acclaimed album "Blooddrunk".Against recommendation, Laiho had decided to "bite the bullet" and remain on tour, wearing the arm in a sling to restrict movement at all times when he was not on stage. But after performing ten live dates with both the broken shoulder and internal bleeding, the toll became too much for the guitar hero to endure and the band made the decision to cut its tour short, placing Laiho's longterm health as its first priority.

Rock’n’Roll is still the chief. Recent proof: The successes of games such as “Guitar Hero” or “‘Rock Band”. The multi player mode is undoubtedly the premier competition, where the players have to play together like a band which never works out infinitivally even at the lowest difficulty level. However, the masses get an idea of how tough this must be.And now there’s WITHOUT WAX. Four young guys devoting their spare time to making ‘real’ music for some years now! Nothing’s better than the real thing and so it happened that in the first moment they’re granted with a little smile which soon froze on their lips, astonished by the professionalism the band puts on display.

The first festival in Hultsfred festival was arranged in 1986, it was a success back then with 7,500 visitors and since then the festival has grown and become one of Sweden's largest and most popular festivals. 2008 the festival had 23,383 paying visitors (source: www.rockparty.se/festivalinfo/festivalhistorik.aspx).

Corvus Corax and support Zwielicht
The band CORVUS CORAX, founded in 1989 in Eastern Germany, knows like nearly no other band how to take their listeners into the Middle-Ages. In 1996 with the single ‘Tanzwut’, a project rather unusual for them originated because they used also electronic elements for the first time and with it, the band TANZWUT was born. But as CORVUS CORAX they remain by her historical instruments like hurdy-gurdy, Trumscheit, zinc, shawm and others and in the meantime they celebrate international success.
