Franz Ferdinand
It is not easy to assign the Scottish Indie-rock band Franz Ferdinand stylistically. Their music sounds partly like Brit pop; on the other hand, it shows clear influence from the postal punk of the late 1970th and the New Wave of the early 1980th. On the 23rd of January 2009, her third album ‘Tonight: Franz Ferdinand’ appeared which strongly differs from his predecessors. In contrast to these the sound looks rawer and synthesizers and drum computer are used.

Combichrist
You cannot put the Norwegian music project COMBICHRIST simply in a drawer – the music is a wild mixture of EBM, Techno, Industrial and Aggro-tech on a foundation of pure Electro. What began in 2003, actually, as a one-man studio project, developed to a volume which can register steadily increasing success on tours and after album publications.
