According the following concerts, here's the latest statement on dm.com: Depeche Mode have been forced to cancel a further four shows on their Sounds of the Universe tour due to further complications from singer Dave Gahan's severe bout of gastroenteritis. Dave is currently undergoing further tests.
Depeche Mode apologise to all their fans for this inconvenience and wish Dave a speedy recovery. Further information will be released in due course.

The Greek Depeche Mode fans that had gathered at the Terra Vibe Park near Athens yesterday evening didn't really get the show they had expected. Over 30.000 people got the not so pleasant message that the show was canceled due to Gahan being rushed to hospital. Apparently David Gahan fell ill in his dressing room."My friend is part of the support band Puressence, and phoned me and said that Dave was fine this afternoon, and Martin was changed in his stage costume so seems to have been a very last minute desision. My friend is barricaded backstage until the crowd calm down." says YouTube member robrumbell.

In its 13th year the association ‘Jugend Dischingen e.V.’ organizes the yearly festival highlight in East Württemberg and from year to year the festival developed to a real crowd puller. During the last years we managed time after time to present a band program with several top acts like ALICE COOPER, MOTÖRHEAD, IN EXTREMO, APOCLYPTICA, SAXON and many more framed inside beautiful scenery the festival strikes with its top organization, a great mood and still retains a familiar atmosphere on stage and behind the scenes. On 19th and 20th June the biggest festival in East Württemberg takes place and just as its other incarnations keeps the promise of presenting a top class and diversified program with the confirmed headliners: HAMMERFALL, EDGUY, DORO and ENSIFERUM.
