NINE INCH NAILS released ‘TRON: Ares’ (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) via Interscope Records on 19th September 2025, marking the band’s first-ever film score under the NINE INCH NAILS name. The album delivers brand-new music from Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross for the third instalment of the iconic TRON franchise.‘TRON: Ares’ is a menacingly vibrant work of sound architecture, built on pulsing synths, distorted textures and haunting melodies. There is no orchestra here - instead, the full force of NINE INCH NAILS is channelled into a cinematic score that collides analogue soul with digital dread.

Led by TWENTY ONE PILOTS, KRAFTKLUB, and YUNGBLUD, promoter FKP Scorpio has announced the first nine artists for the Hurricane and Southside Festival 2026. This first announcement kicks off the anniversary year in which Hurricane celebrates its 30th edition. Since 1997, the festival in Scheeßel has been a success, and together with its twin Southside, founded in 1999 in Neuhausen ob Eck, it ranks among the biggest festivals in Germany and Europe.Few acts unfold the same degree of transformative power for their fans as TWENTY ONE PILOTS - powerful enough to rightfully break BEATLES or ELVIS PRESLEY chart records. Their strength lies in reconciling rap and rock while credibly battling inner demons, which has elevated the Grammy-winning duo from college friends to global music icons. Despite all their success, the duo from Columbus, Ohio, remains focused on a clear artistic vision, which will culminate in their upcoming album Breach. Their unbridled live-show energy is another reason to eagerly anticipate their performances at Hurricane and Southside.

The series of single releases, which began in early 2025 with ‘headradio’ and paved the way for the release of the now fourth studio album ‘reunite’ with ‘take my money’, was adorned with several number 1 positions in the DAC and underpinned by various club shows together with RROYCE and DIORAMA.The album itself ties up many loose ends in terms of very personal experiences and socially critical observations, which are reflected in the lyrics, but also in terms of musical themes, some of which combine the young songwriter’s ideas from long ago with fresh aspects of the mature songwriter. Circles are closed, stories are told to the end, and with a song dedicated to Hilton’s father, an important chapter is revisited and concluded.
