The Swell Season - “UK & Europe” 2025

In the Irish independent music drama ‘Once’, Czech singer and pianist Markéta Irglová and Irish singer-songwriter and guitarist Glen Hansard (THE FRAMES) broke many hearts in 2008. Their self-titled debut album, ‘The Swell Season’, was released in 2006 and features ‘Falling Slowly’, ‘When Your Mind's Made Up’, ‘Lies’ and ‘Leave’, all of which appear in the film and made the duo world-famous. Following the release of the film, which was directed by John Carney, ‘Falling Slowly’ won an Oscar for Best Song at the 80th Academy Awards and was nominated for a Grammy. Today, both Hansard and Irglová are successful solo musicians who are reuniting for a reunion of THE SWELL SEASON. On their UK & Europe 2025 tour, the duo will also be coming to Cologne, Hamburg and Berlin to perform their greatest hits and indulge in romantic nostalgia with their fans.

Canadian Dark-Pop act THE BIRTHDAY MASSACRE has released their new album, ‘Pathways’, today via Metropolis Records. Having already received a number of excellent reviews, it includes the recent singles ‘Sleep Tonight’ and ‘All Of You’, both of which have been rapturously received by their dedicated fanbase. The group is currently two weeks into a North American tour that ends on 4th May in Montreal. A 13 date autumn UK tour commencing on 24th October has also been confirmed.
