As the singer of FRANKIE GOES TO HOLLYWOOD, they caused quite a few scandals together. At the time, the lyrics were criticised and the song ‘Relax’ was even banned from the radio stations, because it was considered too offensive. But that didn’t stop the band’s success. Together the band released two albums (compilations excluded), which received multiple gold and platinum awards.

During the fall of 2024, HENRIC DE LA COUR marked his return with single ‘Hey You, Hell No’ - a whopping six years after his latest album ‘Gimme Daggers’ was released. He’s taken these years to do some soul searching, and have come out on the other side in a partially new suit. Still present, are all those elements that fans have come to love ever since they first came in contact with the now legendary vocalist, especially in connection with the breakthrough of his iconic Swedish Indie Pop band YVONNE in the 90s: grandness, desperation and pop music carefully balancing on a knife’s edge between the darkest of Indie and most fragile of Synth Pop.
