ARVEN are special and they're professionally educated musicians share one important attitude: a strong passion for melodic metal. A metal band with five females up front, the only male influence is restricted to the drums. Carina Hanselmann's nightingale-like vocals are the priority for this band, giving ARVEN its unique sound. All in all the sound appears powerful and dynamic, filled with all kinds of dreamy and catchy melodies. Heavy guitar riffs, accompanied by a double-bass thunderstorm and groovy parts are combined with both orchestral and medieval instruments.
ARVEN's debut album "Music Of Light" is going to be released on September 23, 2011! "Music Of Light" features 10 tracks and comes with an artwork by Jan Yrlund (Korpiklaani, Statovarius, Sirenia). Welcome to the Massacre Records family, ARVEN!
