Mutemath

After two independent releases, MUTEMATH ended the year 2016 with the release of a surprise collaboration with TWENTY ONE PILOTS. The four-piece alternative rock band from New Orleans arranged and produced alternative versions of four songs from the highly acclaimed album ‘Blurryface’ by TWENTY ONE PILOTS. The session with all six members of the two bands was filmed and recorded live and reached # 1 on the iTunes Alternative Charts and over 4.5 million clicks on YouTube. To start the new year 2017, front man Paul Meany worked together with the artists SEVEN LIONS and Jason Ross, known in the electro / trance scene. With them, Meany released the song ‘Higher Love’, which reached # 1 of the Beatport Trance Charts.

In the meantime, MUTEMATH's drummer Darren King was invited to play with Seth Meyers in his band for four episodes of the Late Night Show. The band is currently working on their fifth studio album, with which the quartet has further developed its sound. From Jazz to Rock, Indie to Electronica - MUTEMATH are back and devote themselves to the expansion of their already genre-transcending career. The fifth album of the band will be released in summer. In August / September, the band will return to Germany to present a few of the new songs and, of course, to perform their hits like ‘Typical’ or ‘Monument’ live.
