Hurts
The British Synth duo HURTS emerged from scratch in 2010 and immediately dominated the international charts. Both their debut albums ‘Happiness’ and the overwhelming singles ‘Wonderful Life’ and ‘Stay’ stayed in the hit lists of Europe for months and gained numerous gold and Platinum awards. Theo Hutchcraft and Adam Anderson were the protagonists of a new movement of artists who transported the ideals of the 80s into the present with their elegant style between New Wave, Synth Music and melancholic Zeitgeist Pop.
The second album, ‘Exile’, was released in 2013 and the third work, ‘Surrender’, was out in 2015, both of which immediately confirmed the successes of the debut. HURTS again entered the top 10 of the charts across Europe, the singles ‘Miracle’ and ‘Blind’ also developed into hits. The next chapter of their extraordinary career will be written in late summer. Then, with ‘Desire’, their fourth album will be released with whom HURTS will show new sounds and accents. The album release is accompanied by a tour, leading the band also to Cologne beginning of December.
