Tom Odell - “Jubilee Road” Tour 2018 - Special guest: Picture This

If there is a sense of passionate, perfectly composed love songs about broken relationships, then TOM ODELL is definitely the place for you. With his brand-new single ‘If You Wanna Love Somebody’, the first pre-release from his third album ‘Jubilee Road’, the British singer, pianist and songwriter has achieved another grandiose anthem for all lovesickness-stricken romantics. A feelings awaken song that is in no way inferior to its breakthrough hit ‘Another Love’. Produced along with Ben Baptie (U2, THE VOIDZ, LONDON GRAMMAR) and Martin Terefe (Jason Mraz, James Morrison, KT TUNSTALL), the track is the first new song since ODELL’s second album, ‘Wrong Crowd’, which appeared in 2016 and internationally went up into the upper parts of the charts.

The international breakthrough came in 2013 with his debut album ‘Long Way Down’ with the above-named platinum-finished hit single ‘Another Love’, which has been sold more than a million times. So far, TOM ODELL has sold more than 1.8 million albums and ten million singles worldwide and has been awarded the Brits Critics’ Choice Award and the Ivor Novello Award for “Songwriter of the Year”. But that’s just the official record of the 27-year-old. If you want to appreciate his qualities as a songwriter and now as an arranger and producer, you have to let the music of his new record speak for him.

ODELL has the extraordinary talent of wrapping his stories in sumptuous songs, with strings and brass and chorus, and of course, his accented piano sound. With him, feelings and sensations become a great and overwhelming sound, bringing his charismatic voice to full effect. This applies to the new piece as well as to the songs of his upcoming record ‘Jubilee Road’, which will be released in October. Luckily for all fans, TOM ODELL now announces to go on tour soon after, including some shows in Germany.
