In 2023 the biggest British Rock festival is about to come to Germany again and it will take place at the Hockenheim ring. This time it will last two days and many awesome bands of the international Metal, Hardcore and Punk bands already confirmed their attendance. On the 23rd of June we are looking forward to see SLIPKNOT, PARKWAY DRIVE, DISTURBED, WITHIN TEMPTATION, I PREVAIL, LORNA SHORE, MALEVOLENCE, STAND ATLANTIC and WARGASM. One Slot is still empty and the missing band will be announced shortly. On the 24rd of June we can’t wait to listen to VOLBEAT, THE PRODIGY, AMON AMARTH, KREATOR, CLUTCH, COHEED & CAMBRIA, THE AMITY AFFLICTION, NOTHING MORE, BOB VYLAN and DEAD POET SOCIETY.
I guess we can guarantee a great live show with the Nu-Metal icons of SLIPKNOT with their hymns like ‘Wait and Bleed’ and ‘Duality’. The second headliner is the Danish band VOLBEAT with their great mixture of Rock‘n’Roll and Metal. After the death of singer Keith Flint in 2019 you can look forward to the British band THE PRODIGY. Their songs like ‘Firestarter’ and ‘Smack my bitch up’ are unforgettable. Since you can stay this year two days at the Hockenheimring it is now also possible to camp near the Download Festival ground. We are looking forward to show you a bunch of great pictures of all the bands in our review.
