Fiddler's Green, Zico
FIDDLER'S GREEN, formed in 1990, is a German band from Erlangen playing independent Irish Speed-folk. Their first concert under the name of FIDDLER'S GREEN was at the Newcomer-Festival in Erlangen in November of the same year. The band made the second place in the contest. In 2010 the band released the live DVD 'Folk's not Dead' to celebrate their 20ths anniversary.
That was THE opportunity to gain a glimpse of what all those acclaimed Fiddler's concert are like. Of course it can never beat an up close live performance. If you are near Bochum around October, maybe you should pay the Matrix club a visit where the Fiddler's are going to to a little live party, playing a little something off their 'Wall Of Folk'.
