The Sisters of Mercy

Although THE SISTERS OF MERCY has only released three full length albums (‘First And Last And Always’ (1985), ‘Floodland’ (1987) and ‘Vision Thing’ (1990)) over more than thirty years, they’re known as one of the biggest influences in new wave and gothic music. THE SISTERS OF MERCY was found in 1980 by Andrew Eldritch and Gary Marx. Unsatisfied with the results of their first release, a drum computer, later named Dktor Avalance, was added to the line-up. This proved to be a great success and THE SISTERS OF MERCY created a new sound and style with their next albums.

Over the years, the band has known many, many changes in line up, leaving only Eldritch and Doktor Avalance as a constant factor. THE SISTERS OF MERCY will be playing a series of shows in different European countries at the end of 2011.
