MELISSA LOU ETHERIDGE is an US-American rock musician. Her first album 'Melissa Etheridge', for which she received several times platinum, appeared in 1988. For her song ‘I Need To Wake Up’ from the climate-documentary film ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ she received an Oscar. Recently one can experience her even at the Broadway: As 'St. Jimmy' in the rock opera ‘American Idiot' from the US-American Punk-Rock band GREEN DAY!
Last year, her latest album ‘Fearless Love’ was released and in 2012 she'll come for eight concerts also to Germany. On 5th of March 2012 we can enjoy her at the Tonhalle in Munich and a few days later, on 8th March, in Cologne.
