The extraordinary singer comes back to German stages with traditional songs and classics. For more than 20 years, Canadian artist Loreena McKennit explores the numerous aspects of Celtic music. Seemingly unlaboured she combines instrumental and vocal perfection and emotion to songs bewitching the listener.
With her latest album ‘The Wind that shakes the Barley’, she returned to earliest inspiration of her career, the traditional Folk or Ireland, Scotland and England. In Spring 2012, she will visit Germany and Austria for all in all 13 shows where she will be accompanied once more by a well-selected ensemble of high-class musicians. Along with newer songs, the show will surely contain a lot of classics out of her 13 albums grasping back catalogue. You shouldn’t miss the opportunity seeing her live on stage, i.e. on 29th March 2012 in Münster.
