They count among the most creative bands of the kingdom. Since mid 90ies, THE MANIC STREET PREACHERS from Wales belong to the spear heads of British rock music. Eight of ten studio albums reached British Top10, five of them even made it into the top three. Last October, the band released their singles compilation ‘National Treasures - The Complete Singles’.
The tour accompanying the compilation release will be something special, marking the start of a new chapter. Even though already a new album (70 Songs Of Hatred And Failure) is in progress, the band will take some off-time after the tour since, according to Nicky Wire, ‘National Treasures’ marked the end of an era, not the end of the band, but they will take a hike for a while anyway. This means, you shouldn’t miss one of the last possibilities to see the band live and go and see the band during their show on 22nd April in Cologne!
