Zwarte Cross (Black Motocross) Festival: Within Temptation, Textures, Kreator, The Deaf, Kaiser Chiefs, Beth Hart, Chef’s Special, Ill Nino and many more…
Over the years, the Zwarte Cross festival festival grew out to be the biggest festival in The Netherlands and the biggest motor cross festival in the World. In 2011, there were over 152,500 visitors at the festival. It is a mixture of motocross sports, music, camping and bizarre stunts. This year’s 16th edition of the festival will be held from 20th - 22nd July.
Over 100 national and international bands will perform on 20 stages at the festival. Artists range from rock, pop, blues, hard rock, “tear-jerkers” even, Schlager, folk music and… Rock’n’Roll. In addition there are several DJ's and theatrical acts. Already some big names were confirmed such as WITHIN TEMPTATION, KREATOR and TEXTURES.
And of course there’s the spectacular motor-cycle cross itself for mopeds, bunglers, specials, and motor-cycle combinations. Furthermore, international motocross champions from all over the world will participate in the super league. The organisation of this festival is conducted by the Dutch rock band Jovink and the Voederbietels, a popular rock band from the region where the festival is held.
