Dead Can Dance
DEAD CAN DANCE are Brendan Perry and Lisa Gerrard, originally resident in Australia, who play music together since 1981. Their music is a mixture of elements from rock, neoclassical music, medieval music, post punk and world music - preferably from East European and Arabian cultures which receives quite own fascination by the unusual voices of Lisa and Brendan.
In the end of the 1990s the band separated and both artists followed their solo projects. In 2005 they started to a tour through Europe and North America what should remain, however, a unique thing. Sensational news: There'll be a DEAD CAN DANCE album and a 8-month world tour this year again! On the 7th of October 2012 they'll also come to the Philharmonie in the Gasteig in Munich and one day later at the philharmonic theatre in Cologne. I think, it'll be an amazing event...
