Bat For Lashes
BAT FOR LASHES is the work of the British singer-songwriter, multi- instrumentalist and visual artist Natasha Khan. She was born in 1979 and in between her travels Natasha lives in Brighton, England. Parlophone Records markets her Indie/ Alternative music. The album 'Two Suns' was released in April 2009 and this was the year of her last tour, too. The latest announcement on her website was expected long: "It's been three years since the last Bat For Lashes album, but we can finally reveal the new album, ,The Haunted Man', will be released in October."
What you can see yet on the website is the artwork of the album: Natasha appears naked and carrying a man around her shoulders. The shot was made by the revered photographer Ryan McGinley, known for his naturalistic imagery. The song 'Laura' is the first one taken from new album and available on iTunes. Throughout October and November BAT FOR LASHES will be performing headline shows in the UK, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, France, Belgium and the Netherlands. For Berlin it will be Huxleys Neue Welt at Hasenheide 107-11 and you shouldn't miss Natasha's gentle voice and visual candy!
