Stone Sour, Papa Roach, Hounds
American Rock-Metal band STONE SOUR returns to the Netherlands and to Germany to promote their latest album ‘House of Gold & Bones - Part 1’. STONE SOUR was formed by front man Corey Taylor (SLIPKNOT) and guitar player Jim Root in 2002. Between SLIPKNOT tours, STONE SOUR released four albums so far and played several tours and entered big festivals such as Pinkpop (NL), Graspop (BE) and Fields of Rock. Their album ‘House of Gold & Bones - Part 1’ is the first part of a double release, the second part can be expected somewhere next year. Additionally, a comic book will be released with the album.
Special guest at the Turbinenhalle and at the Melkweg this evening is no one less than PAPA ROACH, who recently released their 7th album entitled ‘The Connection’. PAPA ROACH became famous with their hit single ‘Last Resort’ in 2000. Although the heavy kept making very proper rock music, they never reclaimed the success of their first hit in Europe. Unfortunately, because from experience I know the men PAPA ROACH for sure know how to put up a live show! As to be expected with an evening program like this, the concert at Melkweg is (as well as most of their European Tour) already sold out. For the Oberhausen show, there are still tickets available.
