Bullet for my Valentine & Halestorm
BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE has played the Melkweg in Amsterdam in 2006. Since then, the band grew out to be one of the biggest acts in the international metal world. And now they’re back with a new album and a series of shows. Special guests this evening (they can hardly be called support any more) are American hard rockers HALESTORM, who have been rising fast over the last couple of years playing with big names such as SHINEDOWN and headlining their first international tour.
BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE ‘s debut album ‘The Poison’ hit the scene in 2006 and gave the band a kick start. Ever since, they belonged to the top of the international metal scene. Numerous festivals, sold out concerts and new albums ‘Scream Aim Fire’ (2008) and ‘Fever’ (2010) are on their CV. In February, they will add some new work to their repertoire with the album ‘Temper Temper’ produced by Don Gilmore (Linkin Park / Pearl Jam).
Hard Rockers HALESTORM from Pennsylvania have been on a rise since their self titled debut album came out some years ago. Their energetic live show is characterized by metal riffs, power ballads and post-grunge influences and not to forget charismatic and beautiful singer Lizzy Hale. Their latest album ‘The Strange Case of…’ came out in 2012.
