After celebrated shows in 2012, legendary singer, songwriter and poet LEONARD COHEN comes back to German stages where he can be celebrated also in Oberhausen on 25th June. Already for 60 years, Cohen is making music and belongs to the biggest singers and songwriters of all times. His 2012 album ‘Old Ideas’ [see our review] reached number one chart positions worldwide and became the most successful album in Cohen’s career.

Cohen appeared in the music business for the first time in the sixties and since then he’s an inspiration for the while music industry. Today, there are more than 1300 cover versions of his songs available by artists such as U2, REM, Nick Cave or Johnny Cash. His triumphal world tour 2008-2010 [see our review] was frenetically celebrated by international press. Much to the joy of his fans, the extraordinary artist LEONARD COHEN is now back in Germany with his sensitive, melancholic and legendary show.
