FIDDLER’S GREEN is according to own information an Irish independent Speed-Folk band. The band was founded in 1990 in Erlangen / Bavaria. The style of the band encloses elements of Irish folk and folk-rock just as Punk, Metal or also Reggae. The name FIDDLER’S GREEN is derived from the Irish name for the paradise of the sailors. In 2011, they supported IN EXTREMO on their tour.
Their recent album 'Winners and Boozers' was released in 2013 and reached place 7 in the German Alternative Charts. Now they'll start their Germany tour. On 7th December 2013, we can experience the unusual band, counting to the top live acts of Germany, in the comfortable Kuchlbauer Weißbierstadel in Abensberg.
