Big emotions, a gloomy and piercing voice and lots of pathos: elements making the British artist ANNA CALVI a unique singer already with her self-titled debut album. ANNA CALVI is compared to P.J. HARVEY and NICK CAVE (she was already supporting latter one’s band GRINDERMAN) and her idols can rather be found in cinematic musical fields.
After Calvi missed out most of the last year’s festival season to work intensively on her new album, she now is back and proudly presents her new work ‘One Breath’. After a sold-out club show in Berlin last September, now we can really look forward her little tour in spring 2014 where she will present her new album and where she will prove once more that she is not only a great singer, but also a fantastic guitar player. This concert evening will surely be a night to remember.
