Aerosmith - The Global Warming World Tour
AEROSMITH have confirmed their first German tour for seven years! In June, the band will come for two concerts to Dortmund and Berlin. The Boston quintet is – even after a career of more than forty years – guarantor for explosive live shows with an unique mix of routine and coolness. AEROSMITH are counting to the best known rock bands in the world with more than 150 million records sold. No other US-American band has sold more records so far, received more gold and platinum awards.
For the last time, AEROSMITH visited Germany in summer 2007 and now they are back in Germany. Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and Company will play at the O2 world Berlin on 9th June and on 18th June 2014 they will visit the Westfalenhalle in Dortmund. Since their breakthrough in the seventies, Steven Tyler (vocals), Joe Perry (guitar, vocals), Brad Whitford (guitar), Tom Hamilton (bass) and Joey Kramer (drums) not only influenced super stars like METALLICA or GUNS N’ROSES, they are furthermore one of a few bands of that era still performing in original line-up. Especially after their comeback in the mid-eighties, the band was delivering one hit after another: songs like ‘Cryin‘’, ‘Janie’s Got A Gun’, ‘Crazy’, ‘Livin‘ On The Edge’, ‘Love In An Elevator’, ‘Pink’ or ‘I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing’ are Rock classics by now.
After the release of their latest studio album ‘Music From Another Dimension’ in November 2012 – the first one after eleven years – finally the announced shows are surely a highlight of the upcoming concert summer and of course, the band will perform current material as well as their blockbuster hits during their both German shows. You shouldn’t miss it!
