With more than 40 million records sold, LIMP BIZKIT count to the most successful rock acts of the last decade. With their innovative and rousing mix of flogging rhythms, massive guitar walls and funky Hip-Hop elements, the band around charismatic front man Fred Durst was creating a new musical genre: Nu Metal, a new interpretation of the Crossover music of the early nineties.
After the band appeared for the first time again in original line-up in 2009, the quintet from Jacksonville/ Florida returned in 2011 with full force. The release of the album ‘Gold Cobra‘, the first one since 2003 with new songs, entered world-wide charts, climbing into the Top20. After a label change, the band spent 2013 in the studio to prepare the follow-up release. Their seventh album ‘Stampede of the Disco Elephants’ is announced for July 2014. Already end of June, the band will be back in Germany for four concerts. And you should hurry up to secure your tickets! The shows in Berlin and Cologne are already sold-out!
