The Boomtown Rats - 'The Reunion Tour 2015'
Do we need to say something about the BOOMTOWN RATS? Ok. The Irish New Wave band was founded already in 1975. Their probably best known song was 'I Don't Like Mondays' which place one reached in Great Britain and place six of the charts in Germany in 1979. The song was inspired by a school massacre in San Diego, California / USA. The 16 year old culprit answered the question 'Why?' tersely with 'I Don't Like Mondays'.
On the 28th of January 2013, Bob Geldof announced the reunion of the band who disappeared in 1986. Now in May it is time: Bob Geldof, Garry Roberts, Pete Briquette and Simon Crowe will come for three concerts to Germany! In Munich we will experience the reunion of the legendary band around the socially very much engaged Sir Bob Geldof on 27th of May 2015 in the Backstage Werk.
