The “heaviest day in the park” festival is back with another impressive line-up. Again, the event takes place at the Goffertpark in Nijmegen. This big location offers the opportunity for about twenty bands to play on three stages. The line-up of the past editions has been impressive with names such as MOONSPELL (2009), FEAR FACTORY (2010), MACHINE HEAD (2011), LAMB OF GOD (2012), MOTÖRHEAD (2013), RAMMSTEIN (2013) and IRON MAIDEN (2014). Each year, the festival presents a broad range of metal from classic doom metal to black metal and Metalcore.
The line-up for FortaRock 2015 so far is
Slipknot, Lamb of God, Epica, Parkway Drive, Papa Roach, Godsmack, Exodus, Clutch, Red Fang, Converge, Dying Fetus, Flotsam and Jetsam, Leprous, Sylosis, Enforcer, King 810.
