Deichkind – “Niveau Weshalb Warum ?!“

Their Shows are legendary and incomparable. The events mostly get out of hand. The band itself says, sometimes a concert reminds of a children´s birthday party for adults living in excess. The Hamburg guys are now on Tour again to promote their new album ‘Niveau Weshalb Warum’ and will be back in their hometown Hamburg on the public Holiday at 1st of May – The Day of Work – to celebrate an unforgettable concert.

Since 2000, the band’s publicity rises and rises, the first chart breaker ‘Bon Voyage’ made them famous and every single following hit increased the crowd of fans. Characteristic for DEICHKIND sound and lyrics, which are mostly ironic-humorous or demonstrative bad ass slang, sometimes are also touching the listeners soul and makes them thinking about the world’s problems and people’s behaviour.

The Songs of the new album are mostly party music stuff, including level between the lines and intellectually undemanding performances on stage. Neon-colours, bizarre self-made costumes and a little bit stand-up-comedy are must haves on a DEICHKIND show. Also their self-ironic songs like ‘Hauptsache nichts mit Menschen’ or ‘Like mich am Arsch’ are much valued by the audience. Be sure, this evening will be indescribable. So, come on and say it out loud: “Oma, gib Handtasche, we´ll go to DEICHKIND!“
