Marsimoto - “Green Tour” 2019
About every three years he resurfaces on the scene. MARSIMOTO has released his fifth studio album, ‘Verde’, last spring and scheduled a tour through Central Europe for February 2019. Marsi (as fans and the artist calls himself) is still Marsi, the last green unicorn with the rattlesnake around his neck and the 2PAC tattoo on his skin, unvarnished truth instead of artificial makeover.
On ‘Verde’ the beats of Nobodys Face, Ghanaian Stallion, Bazzazian, Dead Rabbit, Robot Koch, Kid Simius, Ben DMA and The Krauts grumble and buzz in best Green-Berlin manner like the finest fair for your synapses. Everywhere it squeezes, jolts and jerks, constantly rattles, rumbles and pumps something somewhere, clouded in smoke and helium-laden half-sentences. Next February, he will cover Europe in green fog. Freedom, boundless love, revolution! Everything as usual, just green.
